Deepest Sympathies

On behalf of the DuBois Little League, we are heartbroken to hear about the loss of our dear friend, Andy Gilbert who unexpectedly passed away earlier this week.

Andy had a tremendous impact on our League and has helped shape the organization to what it has become today. His commitment to our area's youth baseball players and league was evident as he volunteered and dedicated his time serving not only as a member of the Little League Board, but eventually as Board President for several years. Andy led the league with honesty and integrity. He has always been revered as one of the good guys and his involvement as a member of the State Tournament Committee/s extended his impact to baseball families from all over Pennsylvania.

We hope that during this time, you are able to look back and fondly remember Andy for the amazing man he was. Always seen around the fields with a smile - ready to shake a hand or pat a back and share words of encouragement with all league participants.

DuBois Little League is holding Peyton, along with Andy's family and friends, in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Jackie Robinson said, "A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives." DuBois Little League is forever grateful for the impact Andy Gilbert had on all of our lives and he will be greatly missed.
